In 1972, the 911s received 2.4 liters air-cooled engine
upgrade with engine size up to 2341cc. Power also increased to 130hp, (140 hp at 5,600
rpm in USA). All the 911 models shared the same 915/12 transmission. Torque was
rated 145 lb ft in 1972, but increased by 3 lb-ft in 1973. About 17000 of
